Benoy has been shortlisted for three Global RLI Awards:
1. Solitaire – RLI Future Project of the Year
‘Solitaire breaks down the traditional form of a shopping mall and reinvents it as partially open-air retail streets, plazas, boutique streets and an elevated roof garden. The sustainable design strategy includes a series of wind towers aiming to create a comfortable outdoor environment by using passive cooling technology.’
2. Fourth Mile, Chiswick – RLI Future Project of the Year
‘Fourth Mile will blend technology, living and design to create a pioneering new destination in Brentford, London. Recently approved plans include 234 apartments, a 197-room hotel, a new city square and 95,000 sq. ft. of leisure, retail and dining space.’
3. Benoy – RLI Designer of the Year
The Global RLI Awards look to celebrate the best of retail and leisure design around the world.
Judges for this year’s awards include Wail Balkhair, President of the Board, the Middle East Council of Shopping Centers & Retailers, and Jenefer Brown, EVP & Head of Global Live, Interactive and Location-Based Entertainment at Lionsgate.
The awards ceremony will be held in Riyadh in November.
