Jon Grant joins Benoy as ID Director

We are pleased to announce that international interior design specialist, Jon Grant, has joined Benoy as ID Director.

The post-pandemic real estate sector is having to readapt how its space will be used for modern-day lifestyles, and Jon’s appointment comes at a time when more clients are looking for a deliberate balance of both creative and commercial design solutions.

With 20 years’ experience, Jon has worked across a full range of sectors from retail, mixed-use and workplace, to hospitality, food and beverage and residential. For 16 years, he managed design teams in China and South East Asia before returning to the UK in 2017.

Skilled in leading multiple design teams, Jon is well placed to grow our current interior design offering and help us to expand into new sectors. He will work with clients to readapt their physical environments and enhance the user experience in those spaces.

Commenting on his appointment, Tom Cartledge, CEO said: I’m thrilled to have Jon as part of the team. His collaborative approach and attitude towards partnering’ with clients is a perfect fit with Benoy and its sister businesses across Handley House. For many years we have blended our understanding of global trends with local knowledge and culture, so Jon’s international experience plays to that strength. We believe that the future of so many sectors and building types will include a readaptation of how people use interior spaces. Whether that’s how people live, work, travel or shop, the pandemic has fundamentally shifted so many of our norms and the inside of our buildings now need to respond to new and different conditions. It’s an exciting time for interior design and the ideal time to welcome Jon to the group.”

Prior to joining Benoy, Jon was Interior Design Director at Chapman Taylor.
