DLF commissioned Benoy to redevelop this site which was previously occupied by one of Delhi’s first and most beloved cinema complexes. As a result, a cinema with several screens had to be integrated with the luxury retail and F&B.
Cinema goers and luxury shoppers are different customer groups and both had to be catered for. Through upmarket positioning along with sensitive planning and design of the dining facilities and gold-class cinema facilities, the integration of the entertainment element was achieved.
The architectural features are contemporary and subtle. The use of locally sourced stone in neutral tones for the exterior cladding with accents of black give it a clean and mature look, the impartial canvas allowing the luxury brands to showcase themselves. The simplicity of the overall design allows the entrance to be the focal point, creating an arrival experience. This is now the most luxurious mall in the city.
