Design a new concept for their inaugural brick-and-mortar location, situated inside a Sleep Country store at street level in a busy Ottawa neighborhood.
The solution was to build a new separate corner entrance from the street, giving customers the full experience of what Silk and Snow is. The texture of natural materials evokes the brand personality to the environment, guiding guests through a journey where “inspired rooms “tell home stories. The inviting ambience provides moments of narrative and digital storytelling.
The Silk and Snow DNA and aesthetic style were transported to the Sleep Country store. Through soft and warmer lighting that simulates late afternoon daylight in the summer, the space transforms guests instantly. The perfect combination of specific color palettes and groupings of similar products created a cozy scenario in a unique way. A tasteful collaboration of the two brands under one roof was successfully and respectfully achieved, providing all customers with product choices and brand credibility.
