Challenge

Founded in 1968, Le Naturiste is widely regarded as one of the leading specialists in the sale of natural health and wellness products in Canada. Benoy developed a brand-new store design prototype as part of the brand’s expansion plan across Canada.

Solution

The new Naturiste in-store experience promoted self-education and created a platform for dialogue between customers and certified naturopaths. The incorporation of a reference library area with soft seating and a tasting bar to educate customers encourages dialogue with the in-store certified naturopaths. The stores host guest speakers and new product launches that assert Naturiste as the authority on natural supplements and homeopathy.

Result

The project won the ICSC Maple Leaf Award (Gold). In-store sales year-over-year (YOY) increased by 23% over the first 3 months following the implementation of the new concept, and by 53% in the subsequent 3 months.
