Celebrating success at the 2025 REARD Awards: 3 gold and 1 silver
We are delighted to share that four Benoy projects were recognised at the 2025 REARD Awards, held on 20 November at the China Financial Information Centre in Pudong, Shanghai. Across the categories of commercial planning and interior design, our teams won three gold awards and one silver award.

Heart of Minghu Project, Ningbo – Commercial & Office Building Planning
Gold Award
An ambitious masterplan for the Minghu district that transforms the lakefront into a mixed-use hub of offices, retail, residences and community services. Inspired by the idea of ‘harmony between landscape and city,’ we introduced an elevated street-market typology and a park-like commercial experience. With a major transit hub and integrated public spaces, the scheme sets a forward-looking model for regeneration across the Yangtze River Delta.
Shanghai CMSK North Garden City X – Commercial & Office Building Planning
Gold Award
A TOD-driven mixed-use destination in northern Baoshan combining a retail mall, commercial block, and hotel tower above Metro Line 7’s Panguang Road Station. As a key anchor for the district’s city – industry integration zone, it strengthens connectivity through sunken plazas, pedestrian corridors, squares, and footbridges, forming a dynamic and accessible urban centre.
Shanghai Expo Place – Retail and Office — Interior Design
Gold Award
A defining addition to the Shanghai Expo district, Expo Place offers a premium mixed-use environment shaped by industrial heritage and its riverside context. Our interiors reinterpret the site’s steel-plant legacy through clean lines, refined materials, and a distinctive ‘urban rhythm’. Layered circulation, skylit atriums, and bridge-linked spaces connect the development seamlessly with the wider Expo Zone.
Oasis Wisdom Valley Garden – Retail and Office — Interior Design
Silver Award
The first major commercial anchor of the Oasis Smart Valley development, Oasis Wisdom Valley Garden creates a lively retail hub connected to Metro Line 17 in Qingpu District. Inspired by natural terrains, our interiors form fluid, multi-level spaces that balance calm and movement. By blending retail, dining, leisure, and community uses, the design supports daily life and the district’s emerging innovation industries.
The 2025 REARD Awards, held alongside the 3rd Lujiazui Urban Day, marked the programme’s 10th anniversary. Over the past decade, REARD has become a leading platform for recognising innovation in real estate design, urban renewal and dual-carbon development.
