Benoy project Inorbit Mall, Visakhapatnam continues to progress on site at pace.
The project, which will include 1 million sq.ft of retail, occupies a striking elevated site nestled among verdant hills, offering panoramic views across the landscape. Drawing inspiration from this striking natural setting, the design celebrates openness, outdoor comfort, and a lush green environment that defines the visitor experience.
Preserving and enhancing the site’s ecological and cultural heritage has been central to our design approach. Several heritage trees of deep significance in Indian culture — including a 90-year-old Peepal tree and a 100-year-old Banyan tree — have been carefully preserved within the development. Mature trees across the site have been protected throughout construction and are now joined by hundreds of new plantings that will transform the landscape into a vibrant tapestry of colour each spring.
This project reflects a growing global focus on biophilic design — an architectural philosophy that strengthens the connection between people and nature, enhancing wellbeing and vitality in contemporary urban environments. With the support of a visionary client, the scheme places sustainability, cultural sensitivity, and natural beauty at the heart of a modern retail destination.
The project is due to open later this year.
