Benoy takes home Gold at MUSE Design Awards for 18 Cross

Benoy is proud to announce that 18 Cross has been awarded Gold in the Architectural Design — Adaptive Reuse category at the 2025 MUSE Design Awards. This honour reflects the project’s significant contribution to urban regeneration.

Nestled at the intersection of Cross Street and Nankin Road, the 14,000-sqm development has breathed new life into a once fragmented site, transforming it into a vibrant community hub. Anchored by a sleek 15-storey Grade A office tower and a four-storey podium, 18 Cross is designed to integrate seamlessly with the adjacent heritage shophouses of Nanking Yard.

By retaining its existing structure, 18 Cross has saved more than 23,000 tonnes of CO₂ and achieved Platinum certifications under both Green Mark & WELL standards. Beyond sustainability, it enhances the public realm with a direct MRT station and 55,000 sqft of lifestyle-led commercial space, boosting accessibility and community vibrancy.

This award highlights our team’s expertise in adaptive reuse and the collaboration with our client, PAG. Together, we are committed to crafting spaces that balance heritage, sustainability, and innovative functionality to deliver lasting urban value.

The MUSE Design Awards, founded in 2015 by the International Awards Associate (IAA), celebrate exceptional achievements in design and innovation worldwide, spanning disciplines including Architecture, Interior, Product, Landscape, Lighting, and Packaging Design.
