Kick-starting the next design stage for Ritz Carlton Hotel, Tashkent
We have just kick-started the next design stage for the mixed-used project Ritz Carlton Hotel, Tashkent. Working closely with the client, PASHA Real Estate Group, we delivered a series of workshops, both virtually and at Benoy’s studio in London, as part of the new design stage kick-off, to review key coordination items and set the agendas for the upcoming Technical Design stage.
Already an award-winning design, taking home the prize for Best Mixed-Use Architecture, Uzbekistan, at the Asia Pacific Property Awards earlier this year, Ritz Carlton Hotel is set to become a distinctive landmark tower in the heart of Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The design draws on local context and history, inspired by the rich cultural heritage and intricate geometric patterns of Tashkent. The hotel will stand at 136m and boast 136 hotel keys and 130 serviced apartments. High-end amenities will include a grand ballroom, and indoor and outdoor pool overlooking the Magic Park.
In addition to a landmark hotel, this mixed-use project comprises two adjacent residential towers, each offering approximately 250 – 300 apartments. A large podium on the lower levels house retail, F&B and leisure facilities. A new town square unifies the three towers by creating a central space for residents and visitors to congregate, providing a dynamic urban environment.
Construction has already commenced, with the foundation and mock-up room (image 3) underway. The first tower is set to complete in 2028.
