Benoy celebrates the grand opening of NW Seasons Experience Center for Xiangmi New World mixed-use

The NW Seasons Experience Center, themed A New World from Here,” has officially opened serving as a sales gallery for the residential component of the Xiangmi New World mixed-use project.

Benoy is proud to provide architectural and interior design services for the retail mall, as well as full-scope landscape architecture consultancy for the entire project.

Developed by Shenzhen New World Group, this mixed-use development is located in the heart of the Futian CBD, featuring luxury residences, a 5‑star hotel, serviced apartments, a retail mall, and a kindergarten, setting a new standard for urban regeneration in the region. Spanning 550,000 sqm, it is set to redefine urban living in Shenzhen.

At the opening ceremony, Teri Tsang, Director and Head of the Hong Kong Studio, and Rayvees Goh, Director of Landscape Architecture for APAC, represented Benoy and shared their insights and vision for the project.

Teri Tsang commented, Congratulations to Shenzhen New World Group. We are honored to be part of this journey, thanks to their partnership and trust in us. It is fulfilling to see this project taking shape. We are not just creating a space; we are crafting a new chapter for Xiangmi Lake and its community. Our goal is to design a memory space’ that bridges the past and present, transforming it into a cherished urban living room’ that truly reflects Shenzhen’s spirit of exploration.”

The façade of the retail podium features a water ribbon” design that poetically reflects the shimmering waters of Xiangmi Lake, connecting our memories of the past with the vibrant present of the city. As we embark on this first chapter of urban renewal, we aim to transform the project into a timeless piece of art, with every corner showcasing Shenzhen’s spirit of exploration and innovation, and every detail telling the unique story of Xiangmi Lake.

Rayvees Goh added, We are excited to explore the synergy between urban ecology and commercial vitality, creating seamless indoor-outdoor spaces that emphasize sustainability and immersive experiences while balancing functionality and aesthetics. Our aim is to create a destination that is beautiful, functional, and livable, allowing every visitor to feel the power of urban nature.”

The mixed-use development is the result of a decade-long renewal initiative for the former Huatai Community. Positioned to become a new financial center, the area will be surrounded by several iconic landmarks, including Shenzhen Financial and Cultural Centre, Shenzhen International Performing Arts Center, and a new museum. The development fosters a vibrant cultural atmosphere and attracts high-end resources, set to elevate urban life in the city center.

We look forward to sharing more details about the NW Seasons. Stay tuned as we continue to shape the future of urban living!
