About the finalist projects:
18 Cross
18 Cross is a transformative redevelopment project strategically located between Chinatown and the CBD in Singapore, covering 14,000 sqm. It features 18 heritage shophouses, 6 contemporary shophouses, a 4‑story mixed-use podium, and a 15-story office tower.
Addressing challenges such as a discordant podium design and low foot traffic, the project integrates these elements into a cohesive urban quarter. Benoy provides comprehensive services, including architecture, façade design, landscape design, interior design, wayfinding, and signage.
The design concept, named ‘Heart,’ harmonizes heritage with modernity, enhancing the area’s vibrancy and attracting new tenants, ultimately revitalizing the neighborhood and fostering community pride.
