We are delighted to announce that Benoy has entered into a strategic partnership with leading architectural design firm from Korea, Junglim Architecture. We believe this collaboration will enable us to develop more remarkable projects that benefit the built environment and the communities we serve.
The primary purpose of this partnership is to leverage the combined expertise and resources of Benoy and Junglim. By enhancing our joint strategic competitiveness in the Korean and international markets, we aim to drive greater mutual success and growth. Additionally, this partnership will help strengthen the continuous, trust-based relationship between the two firms as we work towards shared goals.
“We are delighted to formalise this partnership with Junglim,” said Gregory Kovacs, Benoy Design Director. “By combining our specialised skillsets and capabilities, we will be able to tackle even more ambitious and impactful design projects that uplift communities globally.”
“Junglim Architecture and Benoy have maintained a strong partnership,” commented Myungjin Lee, CEO of Junglim Architecture. “Through this agreement, we aim to once again share the values of both companies and expand design and technology exchanges, benefiting our businesses and creating high-quality spaces for clients, users, and society.”
The two firms have already joined forces on a notable initiative — Lotte Mall West Lake Hanoi in Vietnam. This remarkable mixed-use development seamlessly integrates work, leisure, and living spaces with an iconic architectural style.
According to Vietnam News, the mega commercial complex took only 122 days to surpass the 100 billion KRW (US$72.5 million) mark in revenue. Currently, an average of 30,000 people visit this retail complex every day on weekdays and more than 50,000 at weekends.
Moving forward, Benoy and Junglim Architecture will continue exploring new opportunities to collaborate on upcoming design endeavours and notable projects. Stay tuned for more updates on the exciting developments stemming from this strategic alliance.
