Senior appointments in Hong Kong and Singapore strengthen APAC leadership

We are delighted to announce senior leadership hires across our Hong Kong and Singapore Studios to support our continued growth and market development in the region.

Lawrence Ler has joined the Singapore Studio as Project Director, responsible for delivering industry-leading service to clients and ensuring our best-in-class design capabilities, consistent with Benoy’s reputation as a leading global design practice. He will effectively build, develop and maintain strong client relationships, working closely with clients to understand their needs and expectations to deliver innovative client solutions. He will likewise train, mentor and nurture design talent and play a key role in building the pipeline of design leaders.

Recognized by the URA as one of the 20 under 45’ architects in Singapore for his community-centric and sustainable designs, Lawrence brings with him over 20 years of global experience. Lawrence’s works across diverse practice areas range from large master plans, mixed-use developments, retail centres, hospitality, residential, healthcare, to user-experience projects.

Many of Lawrence’s projects were Singapore’s landmarks, such as the Henderson Waves and ITE HQ & Campus Central. Lawrence has been recognised as a thought leader in his industry and a recipient of the prestigious Royal Institute of Architects President’s Medal. He believes in practitioner-led research and teaches design at the National University of Singapore. Lawrence believes that good design comes with social and environmental responsibilities. In his lectures and in practice, he approaches architecture through the user’s perspective to create meaningful and enduring experiences.

Corina Leung
has also rejoined Benoy in the Hong Kong Studio as Senior Associate Director for Interiors, having previously worked in our Shanghai Studio. She will ensure a high level of service to clients, operating as their primary point of contact and having an in-depth understanding of the clients we work with and the markets we operate in. She is responsible for leading and inspiring multiple teams to ensure the delivery of innovative and commercially successful projects that surpass clients’ expectations.

Corina possesses a keen eye for detail and approach project management with meticulousness, ensuring a seamless execution from initial concept development to final implementation. Corina has successfully completed prominent interior commercial projects in Australia, Greater China, and the Southeast Asia regions.
