Tom Cartledge appointed Chairman of Nottingham Forest Football Club

Today, Nottingham Forest Football Club announced that Tom Cartledge, CEO of Handley House, has been appointed as the Club’s Chairman with immediate effect.

A life-long supporter of Nottingham Forest, Tom was born in Nottingham and educated in the city. He continues to live in the area with his family and, of course, runs Benoy’s parent company, Handley House, from the Newark headquarters in the county. The role will see Tom act as an ambassador, supporting the Club and its owners. There is no change to his role as CEO of Handley House.

Commenting on his new role, Tom said: I am honoured to take on the role of Chairman at Nottingham Forest, not least because I’ve been a proud season ticket holder for 40 years! Together with my wife and sons, I am an enthusiastic supporter of the Club and have worked closely with them for many years, helping to improve facilities in a stadium-wide regeneration of the City ground. The Club has a rich history and a passionate fan base but there is so much more we can do – with our role in the city, with our fans, with the infrastructure and with our performance on the pitch.”

I also believe this role will help to support our own business development ambitions around the world, providing numerous networking opportunities in the real estate and leisure and entertainment sectors.”
