Samuele Martelli Attends Arper Roundtable

The state of today’s work is blurring the edges of what we have traditionally considered the workplace. Businesses seek to create the optimal workplaces that would bring their people together to innovate, build culture and drive the business forward. With the shift towards more creative work, the work environment needs to blend design and materiality to help fuel innovation, collaboration and well-being.

Samuele Martelli, Interior Design Senior Associate Director at Benoy, commented at the roundtable group discussion:
The design challenge is to meet business needs while serving the needs of human beings by designing spaces that are the building blocks of emotional, cognitive and physical well-being.”

At Arper Roundtable, held at Stylecraft’s showroom in Singapore, the session discussed the drivers and disruptors causing this fundamental shift in the workplace in the Asian market.

How can we redefine sustainability and the office space to support today’s diverse and unique workforce needs? What furniture would business owners be looking for to provide well-being and performance at work? These and other integral questions were tackled by Arper’s CEO, Roberto Monti, Samuele, and fellow renowned design professionals.

The Arper Roundtable session is a close-door discussion organised by Arper, an Italian furniture and furnishing manufacturer. The session analysed the social and cultural changes and the basis for workplace design and products while leveraging the expertise of industry leaders to positively shape the future of work.
