Jamie Webb, Head of Benoy EMEA, has been appointed to New London Architecture’s Expert Panel for the High Street.
As part of the panel, Jamie will join industry experts looking at how the built environment sector can adapt successfully whilst also promoting the recovery of London’s town centres and high streets. Specifically, they’ll be exploring whether placemaking strategies can revitalise the high street and how flexible approaches can ensure mixed use developments continue to drive the post-Covid retail recovery.
Jamie Webb’s diverse experience spans 20 years in the UK, Asia and Middle East. He specialises in designing places to live, most notably creative mixed use solutions incorporating workspace, education, leisure and retail. As a designer, he believes successful placemaking is about seamlessly integrating mixed-use facilities into communities where people can come together and connect.
Previously Jamie worked at Squire and Partners, 10 Design and Glenn Howells Architects, where he delivered the 2007 Stirling Prize nominated Savill Garden building.
