Benoy and Uncommon Land recently participated in a Postgraduate Career Fair organised by the National University of Singapore (NUS), displaying Benoy’s strong people-oriented brand strategy and inspiring broader design career aspirations in students.
Joining the event in-person, the team at Singapore Studio included Benoy’s sister landscape business Uncommon Land’s Senior Associate Director, Landscape Architecture, Bartosz Majchrzycki, Benoy’s Senior Architectural Designer, Riberd and Marketing Executive, Clara Wan.
The career fair gathered over 1,000 future-ready graduating students from various Master and PhD academic programmes to meet and network with future employers in person to explore job opportunities and internships.
The team at Singapore Studio exhibited a strong brand presence with the Benoy branded goods and encouraged high footfall and prospective employees to our booth. Bartosz and Riberd outlined the career path, qualities and skills required to be an architect and shed light on their own professional and personal working experience with students in the Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA) and Master of Architecture (M Arch) programmes. In the process, students learned more about the interconnected global network of studios at Handley House and explored their career interests.
Throughout the career fair, the students who visited our booth formed a stronger connection to both the Benoy and Uncommon Land brands. Through the QR codes displayed at our booths, the attendees followed and liked our social media channels which showcased our iconic projects and award-winning work. Prospective students also submitted their resumes and registered their interest in Benoy’s Internship Programme and future graduate positions via online forms.
