On 24 August, the Mangoohub project was selected by the Shanghai Construction Trade Association as the winner of the 2021 Shanghai Magnolia Award (municipal-level quality project) for Construction Projects. The Magnolia Award is the highest honour under the architecture engineering quality that is awarded in the Shanghai’s design construction industry. Candidates competing in the China Construction Engineering Luban Prize and National Prime-quality Project, which represents the highest-quality construction projects in the country, will be selected to be winners of the Magnolia Award.

Since its construction, the Mangoohub project has received multiple awards, including the Shanghai Major Construction Project, Shanghai Well-organised Construction Site, Shanghai Star Construction Site, LEED Gold Award, Hunan Broadcasting System Best Project Award, 2‑star Green Building and G1 Carbon Neutral, etc.

The Magnolia Award win is a testament to the design and construction quality of the Mangoohub project. Benoy is deeply honoured to receive this prestigious award together with Shanghai MANGO-XIANG Culture Investment Company, the property owner. We hope that Mangoohub, with its operational quality and brand influence, will become a landmark of Hunan culture in Shanghai and a must-visit place by the riverside for all Mango TV audiences.

Mangoohub, Shanghai

The Mangoohub project is built by Hunan Broadcasting System. Leveraging its brand resources, it has made every effort to build an integrated entertainment centre that is politically intelligent, technologically advanced and livingly fun. It is located on riverside of West Bund in Shanghai’s Xuhui District, along the media port strip. The project represents the largest investment that Hunan province has made in a cultural project in Shanghai, equally serving as a cultural landmark of Hunan province in Shanghai. Mangoohub will include blocks of 5A grade A offices, associated businesses, Mango π space and a media square, and will be able to host holiday celebrations, high-end launch events, brand crossovers, IP production, video creation, art exhibitions, industry incubation, copyright trading and talent development.
