Vicky Wang and Jason Tan appointed Associate Directors based in Shenzhen

As part of Benoy’s 2021 growth strategy in APAC, we are pleased to announce the promotion of Vicky Wang and Jason Tan to Associate Directors, based in the Shenzhen studio. They will report to Terence Seah, Head of Hong Kong, Singapore and Shenzhen, to support delivery of corporate level business strategies, and generation of new business across existing and future sectors and markets.

In their new roles, they will work closely with Terence, various Directors and the architecture teams to grow Benoy’s studio and presence in Shenzhen, via client engagement and business development initiatives across the Greater Bay Area. Focused on promoting Benoy’s service offerings in the region, they will deliver exceptional client service, strengthen pipeline and identify new opportunities for cross-border collaboration.

Vicky joined Benoy in 2019 and has worked at commercial firms, an international master firm and a top three design institute, especially in the fields of urban complex, super high-rise building, commercial and cultural design. She has over 10 years of design experience and super large project management experience all over China. Her projects in Benoy include the Shanghai Yangshupu Power Station Competition, Yongchuan Li Shopping Center and Shenzhen Yitian Shopping Center. During her career, Vicky has designed and managed a series of creative architectural works and won various prestigious awards at home and abroad. 

Jason joined Benoy in 2019 and has over 10 years’ experience working with top design firms. At Benoy, he has worked on a number of large scale projects and competitions in Southeast Asia, including an integrated resorts development in Singapore and a major project with Far East Organization. His international portfolio includes prestigious competitions with China Resources Land in major Chinese cities. Jason has a strong passion in the area of conservation. His experience includes the National Gallery Singapore project where he was in charge of the Roof & Façade” contract and was involved in all stages of the project from conceptualizing, project planning, design development, tender documentation to project management of the construction of the project. In 2017, he was in charge of a winning competition for a mixed-development at Holland Village Singapore. Jason is a registered architect with the Board of Architects, Singapore.
