Benoy project Starfield Anseong shopping centre opens in South Korea

Benoy project Starfield Anseong shopping centre officially opens today in Anseong, South Korea. Benoy delivered architecture and interior design for the 287,000 m² scheme. 

Located in Southern Gyeonggi-do, approximately one hour’s drive from Seoul, the five-storied building consists of two basement floors and three above-ground floors with parking for 5000 cars.
Designed as a collection of linked buildings with unique identities, the architecture expresses a sense of permanence, exuberance and whimsy. A large piazza fronts the main building façade, providing an area for programmed activities throughout the year. The landscaped areas have been preserved and the building has been set within a series of public gardens.
