‘Glitch,’ the unique tile range designed by Benoy in partnership with global tiling specialists Ceramiche Piemme is enjoying strong success globally, some ten months on from when it first launched last year.
The range celebrates imperfection and material individuality and is inspired by the flickering produced on a computer screen by an unpredicted error. The collection is expressed in eight colours in various sizes, with the distinctive irregularities of concrete surfaces, such as cracks, films, scratches and wear, reinterpreted for ceramic tiles. The result is a contemporary collection suited for the home as well as commercial developments.
To date, the range has been specified on numerous projects with the likes of Berkeley Homes, Mace and McLaren. Positive feedback has also come from Arcadia/John Lewis and Landmark Group Dubai, alongside designers, architects and end-users.

The idea of Glitch is based on a paradox: instead of providing a digital reproduction of the flaws of nature, this collection gives tangible form to the flaws and errors of the digital world.
