In partnership with Urban Land Institute Hong Kong (ULI HK) and the China Real Estate Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong and International Chapter (CRECCHKI), Benoy is delighted to sponsor a two-webinar series on developing modern communities and the changing face of towns and cities. In line with the series’ theme of bettering communities, Benoy will be supporting Mother’s Choice, a Hong Kong NGO which aims to create lasting positive social change through caring for children without families and other vulnerable youth.
Tom Cartledge, CEO of Handley House, has been instrumental in securing two industry heavyweights and friends of Benoy as key speakers: Sir Stuart Lipton, who is speaking on 20th May, and Rob Tincknell, speaking on 27th May. Tom Cartledge will be moderating the discussion on the 27th.
The first webinar, Creating Modern Communities, will centre around communities, housing and infrastructure. In a discussion moderated by Colliers International’s Nigel Smith, Sir Stuart Lipton, and Prof. Ricky Burdett will share examples of successful urban regeneration and public realm planning and how, building on these best practices, we can reimagine Hong Kong as an even better place to live, play and work.
Moderated by Tom Cartledge with Rob Tincknell as key speaker, the second webinar will focus on the Evolution of UK Retail and Town Centres, and the untapped opportunities these create. The webinar will examine recent impacts on sectors such as workplace, logistics, infrastructure, the high street, residential, and leisure and the resulting lasting changes and resulting opportunities. This session is particularly relevant for Asian investors looking to deploy capital into London and the UK.
