Benoy appoints Alan Thompson as Design Director

We are delighted to announce that Alan Thompson has joined Benoy as Design Director.

Bringing over 30 years’ design experience, Thompson has led commercial masterplans of a number of prestigious retail and leisure schemes, mixed-use developments and transportation projects across the globe. He is passionate about creating people-friendly schemes, defining directions for optimising commercial revenue for clients while crafting a unique and memorable sense of place.

Based in the London studio, Alan’s appointment aligns with Benoy’s business objectives, expanding on our strong global aviation portfolio, which includes the recently opened Jewel Changi Airport, the award-winning Terminal 4 Changi Airport, as well as the Heathrow Commercial Masterplan and Bahrain International Airport.

Thompson has worked on global schemes including developments for ING Real Estate, Transport for London, Hammerson, ECE Germany, Grandi Stazioni S.p.A, Amsterdam RAI, SBB and a range of airports in the UK, Europe, India, MENA and Asia.
