Success for Benoy at The Great Architectural Bake Off in London

Congratulations to our Benoy Star Bakers – Cecilia Pearson, Holly Bradshaw, Yiting Lu, Francesca Harrison, Aidah Dheban and Joanna Bacon who took first prize in the Great Architectural Bake Off in London with their incredible cake rendition of the Barbican entitled, ​‘Barbicake.’

The team beat off stiff competition from 15 other firms, including Rogers Stirk Harbour (whose three year winning streak we broke), Squire & Partners, Zaha Hadid and Make Architects to secure the top prize, which was judged on taste, technical execution and design. They were cheered on by a strong Benoy contingent on the day which marked our first entry into the London Architectural Festival-inspired competition.
