'City in the city'

Located in Nanshan, the creative district of Shenzhen, Raffles City is destined to be a popular mixed-use development and new landmark for the growing region.

The three phase project will include the world’s eighth Raffles City Shopping Mall, an international Grade A Office Tower, Serviced Residences, Commercial Apartments, a SoHo Tower and a Retail Street. Currently Phase I is completed, with Phase II and III on site.

The 237,500m2 masterplan pays homage to the context of its position, connecting with both the urban fabric of the city and engaging with nearby public parkland.

The architecture draws inspiration from the geography of Shenzhen whilst the design’s concept is based around a ‘City in the city’. This ultimately commercial complex is integrated with the public realm through organic frontages and landscape features.
