Challenge

To inspire the growing number of visitors, the client wanted to enhance the shopping mall with a more diverse retail offering. As the Czech Republic’s first regional shopping destination, the original building had a strong cultural presence, and through its development, we had to uphold its significance and popularity.

Solution

Benoy delivered the architecture, interior and graphic design on this large-scale project. Focusing on spaciousness and aesthetics, we implemented the classic ​‘figure of eight’ circuit, and used innovative lighting, natural colours and forms, and various textures.

Result

Now a contemporary space, Centrum Černý Most has a vast selection of luxury brands and popular retail chains. Designed with purpose, visitors move freely through the centre and discover key features such as the Gastro Foodcourt. With its dramatic autumnal theme, Prague’s beloved shopping mall maintained its reputation as an acclaimed retail environment.
