About the Frame Awards

The Frame Awards were set up by Frame, a Dutch magazine, in 2018 based on the Great Indoor Awards. The awards identify and honour the world’s best interior design projects and the people behind them. Thanks to Frame’s great appeal, the first Frame Awards attracted nearly 1,000 entries from all over the world, with many outstanding designs from China making the shortlist and winning awards. The 2021 Frame Awards were selected on a monthly basis to ensure greater transparency and inclusivity. Further, all professional members of the global interior design industry, regardless of nationality, race, gender, age or job role, are invited to apply for a seat on the jury panel. This adjustment has been made to help the Frame Awards become a more democratic and inclusive platform.
