Located to the south of Marseille’s city centre, Prado is uniquely positioned to realise the exceptional retail potential of France’s second largest city. With a 25,000m² retail offering over five floors, the scheme which has opened this week, has set a new standard for contemporary urban retail in the city of Marseilles.
The retail is arranged around an attractive space, with diagonal pedestrian streets carved out of a new urban block. The two main entrances are positioned at either corner, capturing the pedestrian flows whilst framing views revealing several levels of activity.
The new street wraps around a ‘vertical village’ which accommodates retail over many levels, as well as featuring café and restaurant terraces above.
