Located on the coast with its distinct skyline, Pudong is a vibrant area of the city home to the famous Pearl Tower, Shanghai Disney Resort, and a thriving commercial district. Our client wanted to develop a retail podium, retail street and office space on the bank of Yangjing that could work under the constraints of the site, while making full use of the park at the southwest corner.
Alongside Yangjing Port, LCM offers both static and dynamic areas, as well as connections to the surrounding developments and the broader Pudong district. Inspired by the history and culture of Yangjing, Benoy’s planning and design embody the evolution of the river, highlighting the rich heritage of history and culture of the modern city of Shanghai.
Featuring bridges, sunken plazas and vertical greens, LCM Plaza brings the natural world inside, combining it with urban life. An urban complex with a broad range of facilities, the plaza’s design integrates all of its various elements seamlessly.
