Angular architectural style

Benoy completed the Masterplanning, Retail Architecture and Graphic Design for this high profile, mixed-use scheme in South Korea's capital city, Seoul.

The design concept aimed to create a retail and entertainment destination to anchor the high-end, mixed-use development above. Taking inspiration from the 'Crystal' towers of the International Finance Centre (IFC), the retail interior captures the moment in nature when crystals emerge out of natural rock.

Carefully considered materials and an angular architectural style have been employed to realise the concept across the four retail levels.

Moving away from Korea’s usual retail mall design, Seoul IFC is flooded with natural light. Skylights and light boxes have been punched into the ceiling void to allow light to flow down into the three subterranean shopping levels.
