Global design ambitions

Marks & Spencer (M&S) has an international portfolio of over 1,100 stores which spread across more than 50 countries. Benoy has been working closely with UK brand to help them achieve their global design ambitions.

Benoy’s partnership with M&S began with commissions to rejuvenate prominent stores in Wrexham and Derby. These involved close liaison with the store’s development team to ensure their specific aspirations and requirements were met.

It was due to the success of these initial projects which secured Benoy’s long standing partnership with M&S; the dedicated team now provides Architecture and Interior Design services for projects around the world.

In alignment with M&S’s ‘Plan A’ initiative, Benoy has been increasingly challenged to deliver stores with high sustainability credentials; these high environmental standards have been achieved through Benoy’s architectural design.

Benoy has completed nine M&S Stores in the UK and an additional three in China. Benoy has also provided architectural advice on 20 further stores in the UK.
