The recently opened 200 store shopping centre is designed over three main trading levels, as well as an additional leisure and dinning floor, Galerie Šantovka totals c.40,000m² of GLA. The scheme is noted for its dominant city centre location and excellent connection to transport links including a new tram-stop.
The construction process has involved the decontamination of the derelict post-industrial site and the creation of extensive landscaped areas, dining terraces and a Riverside ‘Green Corridor’.
The project is the first of a number of collaborations between Benoy and the Prague based developer Dandreet. The team is also working together on a scheme in Teplice, which is currently under construction and due for completion in 2014.
