Benoy wins Perspective’s Interior Design Award for Shanghai ifc mall

Benoy is delighted to have received a Certificate of Excellence for the interior design of Shanghai ifc mall at the 2011 Perspective Awards. Hosted at a glamorous ceremony in Hong Kong, the annual Awards celebrate excellence in architecture, interiors and design.

Benoy was praised for its design concept and attention to detail for Shanghai ifc mall in the heart of the city’s financial district, Pudong.

Inspired by the opulence of cut gems and jewellery, the Benoy team realised their vision through the application of a delicate motif pattern used throughout the mall, including the curtain wall façade, feature walls, void edge spandrel, balustrade lantern to the smallest detail such as handrails.

Benoy’s Director involved in the project, Chris Lohan, said: “We are delighted that Benoy has been recognised for our commitment to delivering distinct destinations. Working with our clients Sun Hung Kai, we took every detail and every material into consideration to create a truly unique and luxurious interior design.”
