Benoy is delighted to receive another industry nod for its Parc Central project. Parc Central, Guangzhou, won the Gold Award for ‘Design and Development Excellence – New Developments’ at the 2017 International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Asia Pacific Shopping Center Awards, which was presented on 24 October during the RECon Asia-Pacific Conference in Bangkok. This achievement adds to the handful of other awards received this year for Benoy’s Parc Central.
“I am thrilled to be representing Benoy to receive this award from ICSC. The Benoy Team devoted a huge amount of effort to visualising and bringing Parc Central to life,” said Stephen Chow, Director at Benoy. “We truly believe good design should be blended with context and content. To be recognised for our work on Parc Central is very exciting.”
Set in the heart of Guangzhou’s new Central Business District, Parc Central is seen as a new landmark for the Pearl River Delta city; a ‘Stadium for retail’ which uniquely blends the low-rise above and below-ground retail development within a multi-level parkland. Benoy’s Team delivered the Masterplan, Architecture and Interior Design for Parc Central.
The ICSC Asia Pacific Shopping Center Awards recognises excellence in marketing and design/development of retail properties and retail store design in the region.
