Benoy is delighted to announce that two of its projects have been recognised at the 2017 Real Estate Design (REDesign) China Awards. The winners were announced at a gala dinner in Shanghai on 27 April, following live presentations to the juries during the day. Benoy’s Parc Central, Guangzhou won the Gold Award for ‘Commercial Projects’ and Suzhou Center received the Merit Award for ‘Future Projects’.
Set in the heart of the Guangzhou’s new Central Business District, Parc Central has introduced a new typology to the burgeoning Pearl River Delta city; a ‘Stadium for retail’ which uniquely blends the low-rise above and below-ground retail development within a multi-level parkland.
Suzhou Center is a large-scale, high-end integrated development in the heart of the western CBD of Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP). Planned on a 16 ha site along the bank of Jinji Lake, the scheme comprises Retail, Commercial Offices, Residential and a Hotel as well as entertainment and cultural spaces.
Started in China in 2014, the REDesign Awards have since expanded to reward developments, consultants, architects and designers around the world. The professional Selection Committee of the awards consists of adjudicators from the academic field, real estate industry and the media.
This is the third consecutive year that Benoy projects have been recognised by the REDesign China Award programme.
