This month, plans have been launched for Limmasol Del Mar, a new luxury waterfront development on the south coast of Cyprus. Benoy is the Masterplanner, Architect and Interior Designer behind the residential development which will also include a high-end shopping and dining plaza.
“Our vision was inspired by the entrancing landscape of the Cypriot coastline,” explains John Dawes, Director at Benoy. “We wanted to create a unique residential address and very special experience; translating the beauty of the Troodos Mountains and Mediterranean Sea into architectural form. With its undulating silhouette, the design gracefully echoes the rhythm of the landscape while bringing the magic of the sea into the development.”
With 170m of sea frontage, the building was designed with a subtle wave form and full-height glazing to link the interior and exterior spaces; ensuring uninterrupted views of the sea and coastline.
“Generous terracing and outdoor pools complete the sense of place. Our design celebrates the many reasons why people have wanted to visit this part of the world for centuries. What’s more, with the development’s majestic setting, it provides access to specialty amenities, including boutique retail and fine dining to present residents with a holistic living experience, ” concluded John.
The development is located in heart of the popular 17km promenade along the Cypriot coastline.
