Benoy Highlights New Residential Campaign

1 September 2015

Benoy, the international award-winning studio of Architects, Masterplanners, Interior and Graphic Designers, has welcomed residential designer Jamie Webb as a Divisional Director to its London Studio to strengthen the firm’s Global Residential Team.

With its established reputation in Retail as well as many other sectors, Benoy is now enhancing its residential appointments; looking to take its mixed-use expertise and understanding of consumer needs to apartments, flats and residences.

“We are delighted to have Jamie join us, bringing his experience in Asia, the Middle East and, of course, the UK to Benoy. Along with his particular knowledge of Residential, Jamie will indeed strengthen our presence within the sector around the world,” commented Tom Cartledge, Global Director.

“Continuing to evolve and meet new challenges is how Benoy has gained its global reputation today and the work we are already doing to evolve the residential, mixed-use model shows our awareness of market trends and shifting client interests,” Tom added.

Residential is one of the fastest growing sectors and by bringing in Jamie, Benoy is confirming its commitment to become a key player in this sector and to continue giving clients exceptional results.

Benoy’s residential portfolio already includes such notable schemes as Orchard Residences at ION Orchard in Singapore, the award-winning Victoria Square, Woking, UK and the currently under construction Supernova in Noida, India, which will include amongst its five towers – one being the tallest in Northern India – Armani-branded luxury apartments. These much anticipated developments demonstrate Benoy’s current merit in the sector but the firm is dedicated to expanding and gaining new experiences.

For almost 20 years Jamie has been involved in the residential, mixed-use and retail markets of several countries. Well known for his leadership within the industry and his work on a diverse collection of projects, Jamie has returned to the UK after seven years working in Hong Kong and the Middle East.

“I am honoured to take up this global role for Benoy. I have known about Benoy’s work for a long time and am excited about the opportunity to work in such a connected and creative environment,” said Jamie.

“For me the ideas of placemaking, value and commercial viability are critical to the success of any design, particularly within the residential sector. I am looking forward to bringing my knowledge and creativity from my experiences around the world to add value to Benoy’s existing and future residential portfolio.”

Currently based in the London Studio, Jamie will work with the Global Team across Benoy’s Studios in Asia, India, and the Middle East to drive, develop and manage Benoy’s residential portfolio and raise it to new levels.
