The World Architecture Festival, together with its sister event the INSIDE Festival, is the world’s largest festival and live awards competition dedicated to celebrating and sharing architectural excellence from across the globe. Winners will be announced following presentations to live juries at the event hosted in Singapore from 4 to 6 November, 2015.

About the Shortlisted Projects:

LOTTE WORLD MALL has been welcomed a high-profile retail destination within South Korea’s thriving capital. Benoy’s Interior Design for the 200,000m2 podium captured the significance of the development, introducing innovative and interactive features not yet seen on the same scale in the country.

In Colombia, South America, the Cali City Masterplan draws on the area’s natural setting to breathe new life into this major metropolis. Benoy’s vision draws together the public and private sectors, educational and cultural groups to form a cohesive and aspirational masterplan for the city.

Looking to the future, Benoy’s design for Suzhou Center includes the world’s largest free-form monocoque roof structure which spans over 36,000m2. The retail-led, mixed-use development is situated on the banks of the scenic Jinji Lake with Benoy’s design paying homage to the natural landscape.

Mango West Bund Plaza in Shanghai is part of the wider DreamCenter Masterplan also completed by Benoy. The riverfront complex will bring together International Grade-A Offices, a Media Hub and Cultural Venues to become a premium destination for commercial, creative and leisure activity.
