Benoy Featured in Channel News Asia’s ‘City Redesign’

28 March 2015

Benoy, the global firm of Architects, Masterplanners, Interior and Graphic Designers, will be featured in Channel News Asia’s ‘City Redesign’ televised series airing in March. The four-part program focuses on the transformation of Singapore through the lens of its built heritage.

Each episode looks at a different theme – ‘Built on Work’, ‘High Rise, High Life’, ‘Designing Fun’ and ‘Heritage in Progress’.

Benoy’s ION Orchard is featured in ‘Designing Fun’, the episode focusing on recreational spaces. As the landmark along the famous Orchard Road shopping strip, ION Orchard has long been recognised for its contribution to the city’s public realm. The Singapore government has appointed the development as one of four ‘Service Icons’ for the city and the scheme has been the winner of a multitude of awards.

As part of the episode, Global Design Director Simon Bee speaks on behalf of Benoy’s Design Team as he shares insight into the design of the development.

City Redesign will air on Channel News Asia at 8:00pm SGT, Friday 20 March 2015. The episode will also be available online at a later date:
