Benoy, the international award-winning firm of Architects, Masterplanners, Interior and Graphic Designers, is delighted to announce recent promotions within its Shanghai Studio. Qin Pang and Simon Wong, two former Divisional Directors, have been appointed as Directors by Graham Cartledge CBE, Chairman of Benoy. Qin will also oversee and manage the team in Shanghai in the role of Head of Studio.
“Both Qin and Simon have made a significant contribution to Benoy. They have each built strong and capable design teams and have helped Benoy stimulate and drive its growth in Shanghai and across China. Their leadership and vision will continue to ensure Benoy’s development in the greater region,” said Trevor Vivian, Global Director at Benoy.

His wealth of domestic and global experience, his extensive knowledge of the local market, his professionalism has made him a respected leader. Benoy opened its studio in Shanghai in 2008 with 10 employees and has now grown to a team of over 50. The studio is located in the Benoy-designed Shanghai ICC development which also includes the award-winning retail facility, iAPM. Currently the team is overseeing a diverse portfolio of over 20 projects across China.
