Benoy Announces Hat-trick of Projects During Tour of Asia with David Cameron

Simon Blore, Managing Director Asia, was delighted to join the trade delegation that accompanied the Prime Minister’s to Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur. The mission presented the opportunity to strengthen trade links with the UK and highlight key areas of UK business.

During the visit Benoy announced three exciting instructions.

New Arts Venue, Jakarta, Indonesia
Benoy has been appointed by the Ciputra Group to deliever a cutting edge destination venue for performing arts and a state-of-the-art gallery in Jakarta. The space is part of an impressive mixed-use development in the central business district. The gallery will spread across 3,500m² and the auditorium will hold up to 1,200 seats. Benoy’s expertise in the field of commercial design sets a new standard in gallery and auditorium construction in Jakarta.

Mixed-use development, Jakarta, Indonesia
PT Graha Metropolitan Nuansa has instructed Benoy to undertake a feasibility and masterplanning study for a mixed-use project in Jakarta’s CBD. The project, located close to one of the stations of the future MRT, will bring a new, world class concept in city living, working, shopping and entertainment to a vibrant part of the city.

Retail component of the KL Metropolis, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Benoy has been selected to work on the retail component of the KL Metropolis. Benoy will design three linked mixed-use parcels of land, to create an integrated retail masterplan, which will form a new retail hub for Kuala Lumpur. Phase 1 of the retail hub is located adjacent to the new MATRADE Convention and Exhibition Centre and is scheduled to commence later this year.
